pic of the smallest python ever?

zach_whitman Oct 27, 2008 01:39 AM

This past summer I hatched an anthill python that weighed in at 2.2 grams! She was half the size of her siblings but appeared healthy.

Here is a picture of her a few days later after she had drank a bit. Didn't think to take a pic that first night.

I was pretty excited about her, but unfortunately she never thrived and after 4 months she ended up dieing on me.

Just thought she was pretty cool and you guys might like to see.

and the getting to be cliche, anthill with a penny pic...

She is pretty small...It's a shame she didn't make it.

Hey Zach,
Nice looking neonate for one that is half the weight of a normal. I have wondered about if any could hatch out under 8 inches in length and about 4 grams in weight. Did you happen to get her length?

I am going to keep playng with my Anthill females and see if I can get anything different. =)
