ways to keeping humidity up

omarmorsy Oct 27, 2008 08:37 AM

I live in Montreal Canada, and every year at this time untill spring, the humidity in the air becomes very low. To make sure that humidity is always at 55%, is it alright to slightly wet the substrate around the hide?

Or should I just moss the heck out of the tank and mist the moss?

I would think that either one of your ideas would work. Im no pro on this but sometimes I spray down that substrate to keep the humidity up a little.

I lightly mist tubs. I'm not sure about moss but I think it would work well. I've never tried this, but maybe a humidifier in the snake room would help too.
