Hi Robyn,
I might have the pic you're talking about. I have a pic with someone holding the head and someone with some sort of prong holding open the mouth and pulling the gums back to display the very impressive teeth. Not sure if you want me to try and scan it or something?

yeah, that's the one, I would just like a digital copy for our FAQ...

I know exactly which one Robyn is talking about! That was in a 'Reptiles' magazine that I remember very clearly (as I read it on my way to New Guinea!). I will look for it on this end, but am unlikely to find it. If it helps, the mag in question was published (likely) in '04 or '05.
O.
Robyn,
I've e-mailed you a scan of the pic.

Okay, then I guess my services aren't needed
There are some supposed "croc monitor bite photos", of 2 kids who were supposedly bitten on the head floating around for many years. I found the actual source of one of those pictures, it was actually taken from a hospital ER where they took photos for evidence against the owner of the dog that bit the kid. It would be interesting to find out if the other picture was a fake also.
Somewhere on disk I think I have some croc monitor teeth photos, some of the actual teeth in a clean skull, some with the live monitors lips pulled up, and possibly a tooth removed from one.
This is the best I could come up with:

Was on PEs site, under non PE photos.
I wonder if it was a real croc monitor bite, to me that looks like maybe something fell on the guy, he fell. The picture I refer to appeared about the same time, but it was taken in a hospital.
Steve Blain has some nice croc monitor teeth photos, he had some big ones. He had some photos taken from the monitor being held still, then a tooth exposed with hemostats.
That is an ex employee of NERD. Stacy bit him on top of the head when he walked in a cage full of Crocs, and didn't look above before walking in. I have found it funny in the past when this pic pops up... People say " and that was from a tame Croc"
Stacy was FAR from tame!
Another picture was posted with it, a younger kid, the pic taken in an ER. The obvious shape of jaws in the kids head, this picture was claimed to be a croc monitor, it was a dog bite, the dog did ALOT more damage.

Just a pic of a baby's teeth.
