Albino Pieds

mqbuchanan Oct 27, 2008 09:25 PM

Anyone produce any this past season? I've seen next to nothing. I know Ralph got his dreamsicle, and the mojave pied's hatched, and Markus with his awesome Pied Axanthics, but have not seen many others. Or an albino stripe, any of those? I love double recessive combo's, truly hard to come by gems!

The axanthic clown and the pied clown was also produced... Im not sure of anyone still doing the albino pied. I have a pair of 07 het dreamsicles that I hope to breed next season

Where could I find pic of the axanthic clown? Sounds nice!

Marcial:

Here are a few photos I took of the axanthic clown when I was at the Anaheim Show this year. It's always great seeing the firtst of thier kind in person.

Here is a photo I took at the same show of Dan and Colette's pied clown.

Good luck with everyone's season.

I've seen some very good prices on older double hets lately. I thought I had a male bought but there was an unfortunate accident before I picked him up so I got a possible double het from RDR. If you are on a budget and have het albino and het pied females picking up a double het male to produce pied possible het albino and albino possible het pied would get you closer for surprisingly little. Then the next generation your odds are pretty good and at worst produce double hets.

I've been working this project for a long time and just produced my first albino pied last week. It's an absolutely stunning male. I'll post photos once he's shed and had a meal.

I have 5 eggs incubating from double het x double het right now. Hopefully I'll get lucky and get one. They should hatch around the first of December. I'll share pics if I get one. Wish me luck!

I was on your site the other day... you have a lot of nice things!!! Good luck with your projects, I bet you have a lot planned for this season.

We do have a lot of big things going on right now. We'll be producing more new morphs (new for us anyway) than ever before. Lots of co-dom x co-dom combos, co-dom x recessives, and recessive x recessives, especially with the lavender albinos. The hardest part is having the patience to see all these projects through. Some of them take years. Luckily, I have enough other stuff to keep me busy in the meantime- mostly tons of geckos, and a brand new website that will be up and running soon. The new site will be much more polished and easier to navigate.

Anyway, IF I get lucky and produce an albino pied, I'll post pics as soon as he/she sheds.
