question about our new friend

we just bought a central from a guy who knew nothing about her.from the info i found she is either a black tail nic or a type 2 anery. if you want a pic i will email it i am not sure how to put it on here i am a newbieat this. this is our first boa but we have lots of other types from an anaconda to ball pythons. so could someone please help us thank you so much.

I'm pretty sure that Type II and "blacktail" is the same thing. Type II is the type of anery that stays really, really dark, unlike the type I anery that tends to be more of a brownish color. Posting pics is easy, btw, just go to photos and start your own album. Then at the bottom of every post, you can scroll through and highlight up to 3 pics to display in your post. If you can do that and post a couple of pics, it would really help in determining what you have. Congrats either way on your new boa.

Tough to say with 100% certainty, but from your pics it definitely looks like a type II/blacktail to me. Nice animal!

thank you so the are one and the same, i was told that just not sure. are they typical? without a herp or vet how can i tell about how old she is? like i said this guy new nothing about her.
and is there a good sight to look up to just get info on them.
i know she is about 3 to 6 lbs to small but we will fix that. thanks again for all your help.
