The snake arrived at the guy's house, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I'm really hoping he just forgot to get ahold of me and not that he wasn't there upon delivery.

I just found out they left it on his front porch, he likely wasn't there for pick up.

I can only imaine what you are feeling.

I travel a lot for work, so it is nice that my wife is at home and can receive shipments. I bet I track each shipment at least 7 to 8 times. I live fairly close to a major airport, so if a shipment is late it will get at least close to me where we can go to the carrier and pick it up. I have only had to once go to the carrier, but we are always ready to.

He was supposed to leave his # with his other info in my Paypal, but now that I need it i'm noticing he didn't. I left him a few emails, in case for some reason he is in the house and just didn't hear the guy come.

You'd think when you're expecting a multi-hundred dollar animal that you'd make sure to be there, especially when it is cold out. I don't cover live arrival if no one is going to be there to receive the package.

I use the signature required option (which costs extra money) for all shipments.

I did mark it sig. required, but when I looked on fedex's tracking for the package it says no signature required.
I ship through reptster, and I'm thinking it may have been a glitch on their program. I can't even open that site to view it, its down because they're changing their service to UPS.

Apparently he received the package in person. Fedex was late, and it would appear that they put they left it on the porch so it would appear to have been there on time. Lame.

on "you" surviving the shipping process (apparently the snakes couldn't care less)!!!

Honestly, barring really bad situations, it has to be much worse on us then on them!!!
