Great collection going there. The 6th pic down is a sturati and not a nelsoni just for info and I really would have a hard time calling that one a super hypo.No offense but I have normals that are much more "hypo" than the super hypo you have posted.
Anyway, looking good and I like the ghost.

Ok cool, I think i will hang around here a bit more. People over here havnt got a clue. What makes a super hypo?

jyohe Oct 28, 2008 08:40 PM

HHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

.......maybe Shannon can learn from you???

cough....gag....LOL....

...I got generic hypos real cheaply...they have 0 black scales on them....not a one...???......

I would assume that SUPER hypo would be no black ,no tipping,no wash and really really cool looking orange???....

....and he's right about the nelson too......

and what are the black hondos???.......almost....no...I won't say it......

go to Shannon's sites and look around........really.....

Im a bit confused? I believe shannon 100% People in England havnt a clue, I was told a super hypo was a hypo from two hypo parents (by more than one breeder.) Id take your guys word for it more than the breeders round here.

jyohe Oct 29, 2008 10:47 AM

that's the whole point I wanted...
someone lied to you....and you need to import better....
be the first....maybe you can talk Shannon into coming over there and bringing along 350 milks for sale...LOL.....he could go to a show and setup.....
(notice I am willing to let others do the work)...(hey...they get the fame too)>???...

good luck........

Another question, whats the build up of the genes on a biclored honduran? Is it recessive?

jawn Oct 29, 2008 09:10 AM

Bicolored is a term usually used to describe albinos although it makes sense in normals or hypos as well. It refers to either the inter triad matching the outer red band color or it can also describe a snake like yours where the inner triad is tipped and forms a solid black ring with the 2 black outer bands.

these are close to being bicolor albinos:

Here is a Guatemalan which is a bicolor from Shannon's website (Shannon, hope you don't mind me posting the pic):

Hope that clears it up a little ...

No form of a bicolor is recessive .. it seems to depend on a lot of factors. However if you breed two of the same you are likely to get some more but its not guaranteed .. especially if they are from different 'bloodlines'.
