Laybox? Subtrate?

How many of you all use layboxes in racks for your gravid females? Is Vermiculite a good subtrate for hatching eggs? How many use hovabators?

laying / nest boxes....NO ...not needed....yes they will use boxes with sphagnum moss in them,,,but they lay on paper or aspen or cypress just as well...and you'll be taking eggs right away anyhow

vermiculite...yes...it's good stuff....

Hova-Bator....yes...I used them for like 15 years now....this year I had 4 running.......
