SHBCTT genetics?

MimC85 Oct 29, 2008 11:55 AM

Quick question!

I have a SHBCTT (super-hypo-baldy-carrot tail-tang)male Leo and i was wondering if anyone knows the genetics of these guys? Is it all simple recessive traits? or is it co-dom or what?

I am thinking of breeding him with my albino female...would i get all normals that were het for albino and SHBCTT? Or something that looked more like a SHBCTT that was het for albino?

any ideas?

Hi. I'm not sure of the genetics but to let you know I bred my female shtctb to my tremper albino and got tangerines, shtct high yellows. They are all het for albino. I bred these two back to their dad the albino and got some nice albinos with light orange on the heads. The pictures below are my first and last born from last year and one of the albinos from this year.
