there is a slim chance, you can try. But most times the embryo will drown. I remember I accidentally rolled leopard gecko eggs and put the m right back and they didnt make it. If you just dug them up there is a chance but more than likely the embryo drowned. Doesnt hurt to try...

if they were righted properly within minutes I think the changes are pretty high they will survive. As for the position of the embryo I don't know.

if the eggs are new they should be fine if righted..good luck.

thanks guys.. some of the eggs starting to sweat again like they did before i slipped.. hoping for the best. and by the way my other clutch of eggs have the embryo on the bottom so thats wat i did.

Jostling the eggs can be stressful and cause damage, but they are probably just fine. They aren't nearly as fragile as some would think.

I have seen Chad Brown stumble and drop an egg box with 100 leopard gecko eggs down an entire flight of stairs.

They all hatched just fine.

I have seen similar events with monitor eggs and snake eggs as well.

I wouldn't juggle with viable eggs for the "fun" of it, but I wouldn't toss them out after dropping them either.

Best of luck.
