Now, that's a cool pic. Nice to see babies eating something closer to their natural prey once in a while.
Hi,
very nice picture. Did you "shoot" it outside or did you build the background in a studio?

Another Great picture Brad! I received my new Canon 100mm Macro lens today.. I am hopeful that once i figure out how to use it my photos will improve a bit!

Mike, I'm keeping my eye on you and your photos, as I have been thinking of ordering the same lens. Good luck w/ the photos.

Nice shot Dell!
Of course I'm sure you both realize that there is more to a good shot than the lens and camera. I've seen some guys doing great photography with point and shoots. That being said, the more you are into your photography the more you'll find use for the higher end glass and bodies.
I'm looking forward to seeing your photos, Mike and Dell. I assume you'll be sharing some here, yes?

Hey Brad..
I am 100% aware that it's not just the camera, but i am hoping to get more into photography..
That being said, if your ever in New York please feel free to stop by with your camera!
~ Mike Russo
Well, it's certainly an enjoyable and satisfying hobby, especially when you are into herps (bias opinion of course, LOL). Let me know if you ever need any help.

Thanks Brad.
I'm starting to realize that the right lighting is a big key to a good photograph. And I also need to work on understanding my camera and what it can do.
With work, kids, wife, snake collection, herping, mowing the lawn, walking the dog, yada yada yada, it sure seems like small slow steps w/ the camera. But people like you w/ great photos, and willing to front a few questions sure keep me motivated to keep trying to get better.
Thanks again. And always enjoy your posts and photos.
