Are you all ready for the ghost and goblins that are going to take over the neighbourhoods (please remember to drive safely)? My husband and I were carving our pumpkins when we both wondered out loud if our BD could have fresh pumpkin??? It is in the squash family and resembles spaghetti squash. What is the consensus, can we give some fresh pumpkin for our BD?

Thanks for your opinions.

pumpkin can be fed occasionally...mixed with regular healthy salad.

Yes, and after Halloween if the "meat" inside your pumpkin is still good, you can cut it up in pieces and freeze it for later.
I add pumpkin, winter squash or sweet potato to my dragons' salads periodically instead of the usual yellow squash.
