Baby crested food ....pin head crickets and baby food??

Gecko2525 May 24, 2003 01:09 AM

I would imagine I would start with some pin head crickets, baby food and water. Is this okay or am I missing anything?

Also how do you know when they have had their first shed?? So I can feed him or her after that?? In 2 days or before that?

Thanks!

They shed almost immediately after shedding, within at least a few hours. You really don’t need to offer any food for at least 3 days. Don’t even bother with the baby food, stick just to the crix. They need the protein in order to grow properly, besides they really don’t care for the fruit in the beginning anyway. You can also get something bigger then pins 1/8-3/16” crix work well. Again best of luck
