Rocket shed yesterday. I forgot to weigh him, but he's looking good. I like the way his colors are maturing.

Yep, he's lightened quite a bit. In some ways, I miss the screaming orange, but his current colors are more in line with what I think of as "factory spec" thayeri colors. His saddles are so beautifully shaped and colored, and the lightening of his background makes them stand out better. I also love the little markings along his side.

He took two fuzzies last night, so he's now digesting the biggest meal of his life. In the past, he's generally refused to take more than one of anything bigger than a pinkie. If he'll take two fuzzies at a time now, he'll pick up some size. I've had a few feedings where Ellie's total weight of food consumed was more than Rocket's. I guess there's no hurry for either of them to get big, but I think he'd seem healthier with a little more size.
