Last Clutch for the year with a great surprise!

John Q Sep 07, 2003 07:55 PM

My last clutch for this season just hatched out on Friday. 8 out of 9, not bad for a second clutch. Her first clutch was 16. I've sold most of this years hatchlings, have a group of 5 as holdbacks, but I just may have to hold onto one more female. Most of my customers pick their hatchlings based on color. I think most breeders have similar experience with their customers. I also think that pattern mutations will be working their way into hognose collections. I was lucky enough to produce a banded female. This would be a nice pattern mutation to add into an albino or hypo project. What do you think?

Here's a group shot
