Light colored normal- Possible Morph?

lrwhite Nov 03, 2008 03:18 PM

Does anyone know if this female that I bought 7 years ago looks like any morphs that you know of? I'm going to try and breed her to a Mojave to see if her coloration is genetic... but I was curious what others thought.

'Grade B Fire'....

Atleast that's what I'd think if I found her in a crate of African imports.

What does her belly look like??

I'd breed her back to one of her sons.

Russo Lemon...
Mocha ('het' Latte)...
Fire....
YellowBelly....

Your female looks just as 'abnormal' as any of those four morphs, and they all make white Ball Pythons.

Best of Luck with her.

Thanks... trying to get into breeding. Hopefully she'll produce some beautiful hatchlings!

doesn't look a like a Fire or any of those morphs the person listed above.

she looks to be a very nice colored normal with some nice blushing.

i attached a pic of a Fire for comparison..............

That's what I figured. I'm trying to get into breeding ball pythons for fun... all I have right now is that 7 year old female and a baby male mojave. I don't plan on getting big into breeding, but looking at everyone's comments, that's hard to do!
Hopefully, breeding her with the mojave next year will produce some nice mojaves and light colored normals.

Wish me luck!

Have you bred her? If so, were the babies the same coloration?

this season is the first time she will be bred, so we will see
