Stupid Accident....

drako32186 Sep 07, 2003 08:23 PM

MY spotted python got out and was attacked by a cat (it's been about a week and a half ago). Anyhow, she's got these holes in her side where the cat got ahold of her, and I was wondering, uh, how that will affect her when she eats next.... Stupid question, I know, I just don't want to hurt her.

Thanks

I cant really help you on that one. Im sorry if Im being the bad guy here....but this is the second time that one of your snakes have escaped. Last time it was either the spotted or the corn when the spotted attacked it, you seriously need to invest in better caging, or work slower so you dont miss things like this.

The only advice I can give you on that note is to take it to an exotics vet...

Sorry,
Chris

Hi there,
well doesn't sound that good. Perhaps you should have taken that snake taken to a vet. Organs could be damaged or the wounds could
cause an infection.

If this is really the second time in a short period of time you should sure check your caging!

Cheers,
Wulf

Lucky cat! If it has been an adult red tail or a burmese, ciao Mistigri...
