a few ? about water features

NateW. Sep 07, 2003 08:25 PM

hi,
My first question is i saw some latex tubing and i was wondering if i could use this for my water feature because it is very flexible and would be easier to work with than the harder plastic tubing.

question # two for people with ultrasonic foggers. When you connect the fogger to the tank what do you have between the tubing that goes to the fogger and the tank. What i mean is do you use some type of special thing to connect the tubing to the tank?
thanks for any help.

I use polyvinyl tubing it is available at home depot in lengths of 25 feet, it comes in lots of diameters. I just have the glass shop drill a hole big enough for the tube to squeeze through, but make sure the frogs can't squeeze themselves inside it.

Yes, it's completely safe.

I dont see why you'd have to. Just do like geckguy said where you insert the tubing directly into the hole. Screen off the hole to prevent escape instead of just using small tubing and hoping they wont squeeze through. Better safe than sorry.
