megan,
having had both greens and cyclura, cyclura are way more fun but can be a bit more work. Think more floor space and more heat. First pick up the new Reptiles and read the article about cornuta(rhinos) by Binns.
Go to herpnut.com and read the West Indies rock iguanas article by David Blair, its in the left margin. Read those and they will give you a good base for more specific questions.

Cubans tend to be less arboreal then common green iguanas. You need more rocks, I like to make little rock formations out of bricks and bigger rocks. Light fixtures hanging over those areas to heat the rocks for the basking spot. Same bulbs for both iguanas. Personality wise Cyclura are 10 times better than the majority of greens. I have two dogs, 3 burmese pythons, 3 terrapins, and 1 cuban. Aside from my dogs the cuban is the most rewarding pet!
