LOTS of colors/ patterns, sizes, shapes, hehehhehee, here are a couple pics taken on bath day , over the weekend.

The tubs are full of my New Mexico gems, (Fancies) one tub has incredible blues, cool colors the other tub is full of amazing color as well as crazy patterns.

* NO ONE here is heated up, they had no lights on and were just washed, and they are still colorful.

Collareds are INCREDIBLE little lizards!

Thumbs up for COLLAREDS for sure!

Wow such a beautiful collection Eve, now only if I could get my two pair to make some babies. I think Clyde's confused though he put up the 'do not disturb' sign up in September and now just became active. All the lizards are doing great, he just seems confused lol, Thelma's fast asleep now rofl. I think I need to get a fridge to brumate them in, our daytime and nighttime temps aren't low enough for proper brumation.

Hehe, true it does seem to be brumating itself, between the election frenzy and putting the lizards to rest for a period of time things do slow down.

One nice spring day, OldCrota and I took a sack lunch to a place with a nice collared population a few miles out of town. It was our habit to have lunch there a couple of times a week and watch the collards. We had stopped to eat when a man in a pickup truck drove up to our vehicle. I thought he said "Do you want a pizza?" Thinking that was strange, I said, "Excuse me?" He said, "Do you want a threesome?" We about choked and decided we would rather drive than eat. A few days later, there was a story in the newspaper about a man who had been murdered in his vehicle. The photograph of the person arrested (and later convicted) for the crime looked just like the man who had approached us. We now jokingly refer to it as the Pizza Place, but have to wonder what else hangs around there besides collards. Eve just happens to own a female from the Pizza Place! So Eve, does Peyote wear a leather collar and fishnet stockings?

Do you mean those are fancy because they are kind of cool looking or are you coining them as locality specific animal. It looks like there are about five different localities of easterns and a pair of westerns to me!

PHEve Nov 09, 2008 11:33 PM

Hi, No I'm not coining them anything but Cool looking different patterns, I say Fancy only because they are all different looking, and I appreciate their beauty, and wanted some to see what a wide range of diversity in colors/patterns that come from the NM regions.

I personally know where each came from pretty much as far as what county, so forth, the wranglers are friends who live in different parts of NM.

I call them Eves fancies just as I call my aquaflame/ yellowheads "Suncharmers Yellowflames" Just enjoy my pretty lizards, and put a bit of Flair/ or BLING in my descriptions, as to not be to serious all the time.
