This is my first attempt a breeding, so newbie question. If my female is swollen (ovulating) does that mean the male needs to go back in with her or has he already done his job?
Thanks and sorry for the newbie question

I believe you are supposed to leave him in. It could be possible he is not done yet. A lot of people think that is why some boas have so many slugs. He did all the work to get the ovulation and was taken out too early.
Unless his health is a concern there is no reason not to leave him in, better safe than sorry.
I took him out to give him a break and he was shedding. She is kinda tempermental. I was thinking of putting them back together just to make sure. Thank you for your input.
I agree put him back in right away.
No time to loose get em in there,LOL
