hi all, i've never purchased a yellowbelly before. i know some can be more subtle than others. this one is offered to me.

on a scale of 1-10, what do you think? keep in mind, in the belly photo, she's in shed phase.

thanks, i appreciate the help.

Not the best I have seen, but it is a very decent yellow belly. No question though that it is a yellow belly. I would say maybe a 5.

hard to tell with the snake being blue. however i'm not seeing that much speckling on the belly. is it a proven yb?

that is exactly what worried me. it does not have that classic yellowbelly checkering, peppering, overlapping, thing going on.

good idea - i'll see if its proven.

though its probably truly a yellowbelly, i may need to pass. she's a virgin and not from the breeders personal breeding group. reputable folks i am told have verified it as a yellowbelly, but its not, from what i've seen, a classic example. so if her offspring inherit the same sort of not overly obvious belly, i'll be fielding the same sort of inquiries i'm posting here.

cant wait for her to shed as the owner has another buyer, so its put up or shut up time for me.

too bad too cause i really need something like this gal and they are hard to come by.

Paul I would say she is definitely a yellow belly. I would say she would be about a 5 on the scale.

I would say...no question it is a YB...as far as fielding questions about if it is or not...it is...for those that are not paranoid about being taken...it is...do you have a good rep? Put a guarantee with your offspring and always keep a good rep...that should be enough in itself.
