Hi,i live in ITALY where the weather is similar to U.S.A. weather.
I have a little Crocodylus Acutus of about 20 cm. (10 inch.)(you can see a photo in actual 2nd page of this forum at Jul 24 with the title "Identification of a little crocodyle".
Now in Italy autumn is arriving and so winter will arrive.
Do my croc a letargic period or i have to keep it in home in a warm room ?
Please i need all type of advice to guarantee a good life to my croc in cold period of the year.
Do you have any links to Acutus sites ?
Excuse me for my bad english language and very thanks from my croc to all will answer !

Yes the croc needs to come inside. If the temps are even cool outside he needs to come in now. He will need water thats heated, a dry basking area that has a basking light. Also you will need filtration for the water unless you plan on changing it quite frequently. You will need to have the water temp between 80-90F. Basking temps upper 80s to 90s. Remember though he also needs a place to bask outside the light area that has different temps. Hope this is helpful.
