A new much anticipated litter

willykink Nov 06, 2008 04:06 PM

Hello all and thank you for reading,

This past election day, Nov. 4th, I came home from work to find a new litter of normals, salmons, and possible super salmons. The dame and sire, both spectacular salmons themselves, are actually littermates from a Salmonboa.com litter a few years ago from the MP line of Ihle salmons. I'd like to thank Rich and John from Salmonboa.com for the dame, Cody, and Mike and Peggy Hancock for the sire, Diablo(and yes, that name is well deserved!)
I ended up with 11 live, 3 dead, and 2 pills. Of the dead, at least one was a for sure super, most likely 2 I still came away with 7 healthy salmons, 4 of which I'll be holding onto for a while, and 4 normals. Not a bad ratio...maybe next year
As soon as I get a decent working camera again, I'll post pics of parents and offspring.
I hope everyone else's collections are healthy and growing!

ps. the pics attached are of the dame, pics Ive had on file on here for a while.
