I'd like to thank the people who gave me the advice for this little guy when I got him (sorry I don't remember names)... His health has done a complete turn around since I got him, he's gaining weight and doesn't look so starved and his feeding response is wonderful... He's also mellowing out a lot and has become a dream to handle... Instead of curling up and trying to hide from me, he's actively checkin out the room and isn't as skittish as he was...

For those who don't remember, before pics from right after I got him... They didn't turn out to well, but he had open sores on his back and was extremely thin...

Today I got him and the camera out, and I think he looks much better then he did 2 months ago...


And the sores have healed nicely... He shed about 3 weeks ago and the scars are already less noticeable... I think he'll still have scarring in the long run, but it should be less obvious by this time next year...

We're not sure if he's really a guy or a girl, but my cousin named him Mitch... He watches Road Trip too much lol...

my friend has a male they raised from a hatchling thinking it was a girl..his name is enana. good to know that lucky mitch has an extended family.
