those of you who are breeders on a fairly larger scale- do you name your snakes? or just use numbers or some other system?
what kind of names you give them?

everyone else who name your snake "children" what are their names? if you dont have too many to name...lol

ill start, since i asked...

like ive said, i only have two...

my boy is Zenith. My girl is Zahara. was going to be sahara. but changed it to a Z for the heck of it. lol. its his gf when they are big enough ahahahhah although im thinking about getting him another one--lady at work is selling her adult female......might have to rename him to "pimp" LOL im such a dork...anyways...
i was just curious..thought it would be fun to know everybody elses names...

I name my breeders and I like to give them funny or clever names. I have a Lucile, a Jojo (the Mojo), poke(ball), peter (who is a spider). I also have a het axanthic Maggie (steel magnolia). And the best is my new pin Tommy the pin(ball)...

I'm so glad you asked! I've been wondering myself, but I suppose I never thought to ask. My little monsters names are Theta -my female norm. Delta -female albino het. Oberon -norm male. Hermes -normal adoptee, that was his name, and I haven't changed it yet it kind of fits with the accidental theme. I haven't named my male albino ball yet, and my albino burm's name is Wayne. Yes you can laugh, Delta, Theta, and... Wayne.

I have Issabell the pied, giggles the clown, buttons the normal, sherlock the super pastel, spinner the bumble bee, and then there was rose a normal who just got name changed to spike when we found out she has himipenises. I looks like she was miss probed.

LoL, it was the first thing that came to mind. He's a FLORIDA king, known for their OJ, and he has a bunch of cool Kool-Aid like colors. Just an idea

My balls are named Sam, Cheerio (his markings look like cheerios, he also has hearts, diamonds and snoopy on him), Domino, Corona, Cleopatra, Deuce, & Homeboy. My boas are Freckles, Peaches, Kilo, Shimmer, Izabella & Arcadio. We also have a rat snake that hangs around named Slinky

I name all of my snakes. I think you have way too many when you can't name them anymore and they become numbers. Its no longer personal than. Here are my critters (4 of them aren't names yet, OPEN FOR IDEAS!!!):

are all these snakes in the same room? i would love to walk through and look at all of em...

i love the boas too. red tails are beautiful to me. but i worry about how big they can get and i have heard that they have attitude problems. ive held a few and they all seemed to be pretty tame, so im confused by what ive heard.

as primary caretaker id want all my snakes to stay under, ohhh, say 8 ft, or so. anyways.
