about time dave, been waiting to see some pics. Am loving MA-HA-04 Hypo female. In an ad before your were saying you were offering unrelated hypo pairs, did the rest come from Bryan? i can see yourself with all of these now, and not being able to get rid of them, cos they all keepers.

In this years babies, the seems to be very strong black on the heads, in peoples experience, how long does this take to appear more brownish?

great shots as usual

dave have you ever worked out, at what stage you will get when you cant actually fit anymore snakes in your snake room? Fluffy holdbacks, then i guess you gonna have a lot of double het holdbacks next year. Where is your limit?

just thought about it after i saw all you new acquisitions, im currently ordering some adult size caging, that will basically fill up my snake room, will take some years to fill them, but i have realised once they are full, anything new will have to replace something old;( I only have so much room.....

In all honesty, I'm pretty darn full!!! I do have many open larger spaces but also have many sub adults coming up. Remember, my rainbow room (11' x 13' plus closet) currently has cage spaces for 50 adult BRB's along with 20-40 (depending on which tubs used) subadults. Plus several hundred babies.

Really, space for me is NOT the issue, it's how many spaces I want to keep up on cleaning.

I have in the past and will continue to in the future, sell off adults as necessary to make room for nicer specimens as they need space.

Clearly to me this year I produced many more top quality babies then ever before. MUCH higher percentages of the litters were keeper quality babies. That comes from generations of selective breeding. THOSE adults and babies are the ones that earn more of a permanent spot in my collection. The older original animals that produce only a few keepers here and there will have to move over.

is that room only 11x13ft? so whats that, um 3.8m x 4.5m? how the hell you fit 50 adults in there? i have seen those wooden cages you have, the ones with the pipes coming out, i take it there your breeder female cages. Are the rest just in those rainbowsrus CB110's?

also looking at the pics of those wooden ones, looks like they have both lights and radiant heat panels. Do you ever actually use the lights in them? are just the lights from the whole room? Also those radiant panels, how well do they work, those cages are on the smaller side, and do you still get the heat gradient easy enough, ie does the heat just radiate straight down, and not at all to the sides? Also do you find radiant heat panels better for gravid females, ie above heat opposed to belly heat?

cheers

16 sections in the wood breeders
20 CB110 tubs
6-12 in one Boaphile stack
10 in two sandmar combo cage/tub stacks. (I've not use them yet)

The lights are for me and no, I never use them.

Love the RHP's, soft gentle heat, very precise heating, I can get away with less of a temp gradient. Basically if they want warmer, they climb on the bowl rim, if they want cooler, in the moss tub or on the floor away from the heat.

Been working great for breeding!!!!!
