very nice! One of my favorite ssp. in the Genus. I have had my pair for so long that I sometimes take them for granted..... Your post has me inspired to pay more attention to mine, thanks!

I sold my adults, THEN I realized what a mistake that was. The fun part has been doing the research to see who has some awesome hatchlings as these don't linger in the classifieds. I was lucky to get some very nice animals this year, and I love watching them grow. Nothing better than a 6' black pine. I think I said this before, you can forget about the "poor man's indigo" label, these pits rock!

pic of a '98 male, one of the biggest pits I've ever owned- 6 1/2' and thick. I purchased him from Brian Barczyk (BHB Enterprises). What a rat wrecker he was, never should have sold him!

Ive been searching for a flawless pair,have never had black pines but have wanted for some time,i have a 125 gallon tank waiting for a nice display
