Spotted Turtle Hatchlings

Any input on the best food items to get baby spotteds feeding?

FYI, there's a separate forum for spotted turtles: we could use some more topics to discuss over there too!

To answer your question though, anything live that moves should entice your spotted to eat. The best, I think would be nightcrawlers and mealworms, although you'll probably have to cut them into smaller pieces, but the smell alone should get them going. Don't do anything that moves quick like crickets until he/she gets the hang of catching live food. Good luck, hope to see you in the spotted forum.
