I am a member of the Ecology listserve and the day after the election the posts were flying. Folks wondered if more research would be funded and if the global climate change issue would be tackled now.

But folks also stated, as others have here, that there are some other important issues that need some attention - like the economy and the wars. Folks were confident that the attack against science and Federal biologists would end.

Just thought you might like to know.
