Female Cinnamon W/ a great stripe

jaymiller242 Nov 08, 2008 07:02 PM

I have a chance to pick up a beautiful little female Cinnie about 150 grams with a great stripe about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch wide going the whole length of her. Problem is he is asking $450 for her and I dont know if it is a genetic thing or not. Does anyone know if Cinnies tend to have genetic stripes from time to time or if it might just be nothing more than a chance anommolie. Any ideas would be appreciated or I might just hear breed it and find out. If that is the case maybe someone with genetic stripe experience could tell me if I would need to breed it to another striped one or would a female that was genetically striped tend to have clutches of babies with stripes? Any help would be very much appreciated, Jay

This is how this goes.!!! Is it worth alittle extra to have that stripe? I always paid extra it seems for the best or what I thought was the best looking Animal.

All I can say now is my stuff RULES... See what I'm saying? Who has it or have them forward a Picture, You may be out of that Cinny if You mess around to much... Get It, Got It, Doubt It.

you did not post a pic, so not sure what you mean by "stripe". cinnies are frequently black back, if that is what you mean.

i have two that way and expect a fair share of the offspring to inherit the black back quality.
