Hello,

I have a baby leopard gecko that was kept with a few of her sisters. She seems to be smaller than the others (they are all a couple of months old), so I figured she was the runt of the litter and maybe got abused. I took her out and put her in her own cage.

She has been eating off and on, so I've been force feeding her the last few days. I notice that she can't really open her eyes all the way, the has a small notch above one of them, and seems to lick her eyes frequently.

Does this appear to be some sort of infection that may have been caused by one of her sisters biting her? I don't really remember if this was a birth defect or not.

Does anyone have any ideas on treatment options? Does this look like something she could fight off on her own? Would she require some sort of medication? I'd rather not medicate her if possible.

Hmm...that is interesting....

It could be potentially a bad shed that led to eye issues? Do both of her eyes look that way?

How is her appetite? You mention she is eating off and on - about how much is she eating, and how often? Force feeding is extremely stressful, so unless she is loosing weight, or not eating at all i would not resort to that.

What is her current set up like? Does she have a humid hide? How are her temps, etc?
