Beautiful BRB 2 year old female

pythonas Nov 09, 2008 11:40 AM

She is one of my favorite snakes. She is handable once you take her out of her cage but will strike if she not in the mood to be handled. Got bitten a few times (she strikes fast and hard) and yes she draw blood each time.
She takes adult mice, small rats and small chicks. Never refused a meal.

I like the squiggle down her back. I've got one with a similar pattern.

I like the crescents on her I've never seen an adult BRB colored quite like that, reminds me of the shade on CRBs, kinda neat looking.

Nice looking crescents. Have you watched her to see if she's leeting you know (before the strike/bite) that she does not want to be messed with?

Most BRB's are eating machines!!!

She's pretty, I love her dorsal zigzag.

I've got a few that dont like to be picked up from their cage, but do ok if I hook them out. With a hook, you can give them a bit of warning that its time to be handled by tapping them or stroking them a few times, the pick up a coil with the hook and lay it into your hand to bring them out. Some just dont like the hand coming in and pick them up from the top. That makes sense when you think about it, the only time they'd be picked up from the top in the wild would be when they're about to be lunch.
