Here are some NY locality easterns I am working with. I struggled to get the lighting right today. Will have to wait for a cloudy day to get this right.

NY animals have nice thick banding. I hope my pic works, I finally resized it. This is a 8-10" baby and if there were any red in it it would be screaming next to the purple rocks. See how it fades to green at a distance? Maybe its me,lol.

Hey Jeff,

That's a nice comparison shot - definately can see the anery in that shot. Very nice, I like how they are high white with smaller blotches.

Dave, working with an older(non zoom)digital camera and 2 uncooperative subjects....slowly but surely getting better with the pics. I know, kicking and screaming....

Nice t. triangulum Dave. I didn't know you had Easterns in your collection. Very nice. The hold backs below are killer looking by the way, nice job.

Easterns the best in my opinion. I wonder why you don't see them more often. I just got my first pair of cb. babies, and they are awesome. I like them better than corns. It seems there are even some morphs out there. I wonder if anyone will be breeding albinos any time soon. I am sure they will be a fortune when they do.

Jeff Schofield Nov 10, 2008 08:23 PM

Right now there arent even definate HETS in existence(I believe someone is starting with possible hets)yet!! There are alot of people who are watching Joe's snake grow and the drool is puddling up!!! Dont jinx him, he hasnt bred snakes yet! Patience...

Hi Wayne, One eats great. The other one ate once and has not eaten again. I am not too worried because it looks good, and shows interest in food. It may be because it ie winter. One of my baby Box turtles stoped feeding due to winter.

dekaybrown Nov 12, 2008 10:18 PM

I have one other from that litter that will not eat the pinky unless I cut it in half, once it smells blood, BAM feeding response.

If only they would stay red and white.....
