Amazon tree boa question

markpyle Nov 10, 2008 09:22 PM

I am new to Amazon Tree boas. I have owned one for about 9 months. I bought it for an interesting display animal. It is now my favorite snake. I am considering breeding them at some point. I plan to get another one in a few months. I am wondering how difficult it is to probe them. It is about a year old now. Is there a better way to sex them than probing?
Thanks
Mark

really pretty boa. I love that it has the gardan phase pattern with lots of color. As far as sexing goes though, I'm not sure. I don't think you can pop babies and I think that they have to be bigger than that to probe.
