Rack probe placement

SooperScoot Nov 11, 2008 07:52 AM

Ive finished building my first rack for ball pythons and have ordered the herpstat nd. My question is, where do you place the probe? I was planning on taping it down to the flexwatt.

That's exactly what I do, remember though, you will have to monitor tub/cage temps to determine what heat tape value gets the desired tub/cage temp.

Dave,

A year or more ago you posted a comparison of the actual floor area of some of the various Iris tubs. I think the CB-75 and CF-750 were included.

Do you still have that information? Can you post it or email it to me?

Tried doing a search but did not find it.

Sorry if I have the wrong guy. Memory ain't what it used to be...
