Blood experts, what do you call these!

chris nicholas Nov 11, 2008 06:33 PM

I know what I paid for them as, but after seeing some others...well honest opinions would be great.

Female

Male

Thanks,
Chris Nicholas

I would call them sexy! Nice borenos, especially the bottom one! I love the darker cherry type coloring

I would say stripe line Borneos??

luckydog Nov 12, 2008 03:44 PM

Nice lil Briet stripers..

I'd say they are super stripes Chris. They look exactly like
the ones I raised and bred. No, not the same as stripe line borneos. They will make amazing babies when you breed them together. They only get better with age and are just awesome snakes to work with.

I thought they were, that is what I paid for, by the way "your" argentine female is being bred by a new bloodline male!

Hey Chris good luck with the argentines I sure wish I had some. You can see one of my baby borneos grown up at this link, the 6th photo down. And the one under it is a head shot of one of my adults.

What's the difference between a super stripe and a regular stripe line borneo? (I'm new to bloods, so I'm not familiar with all of the different morphs.) Thanks!

As far as I know the stripe line borneos are normal colored with some degree of striping. The super stripes are a morph of both color and pattern. They have bright orange or yellow sides. Here's an adult female I used to have as a good example of the bright color. She was gorgeous! Great snakes, tame, beautiful and so easy to care for.
