Unusually patterned snow desert king

dhakala Nov 13, 2008 09:41 AM

Meet Riley, whom I acquired two weeks ago. I'm told he's a snow desert king about two months old. (see link URL below my sig).

I've never seen a king snake striped and spotted. I can't find any via Google.

If you are familiar with this pattern, can you tell me anything about its breeder origin, what other traits may associated with it, and anything else I should know?

He eats like a starving shark and is very active when he's not digesting.

Doesn't look like a snow "desert" king to me. Looks like a normal broken stripe/spotted albino cal king.

Thanks. I thought it strange that I couldn't Google anything like Riley.

Whatever Riley is, he's pretty and I love him.

I took a close look at Riley's eyes and they are brown, not red. So I would have to rule out albino. But you're right, he resembles a striped Cal king more than anything else.

Thanks again for your help!
