Albino Pics

Here is a pic of a Bell, Las Vegas, and Tremper. Sorry for the bad pic. It was the best I could get without them escaping the box. Can you name which one is which?

I was surprised at how fast the different morphs jumped out at me. Going clockwise from the top: Tremper, Las Vegas, and Bell. Let me know if I’m correct. Cool pic, thanks for sharing it!

Yep, your right. To think, people say it can be difficult to tell them apart!

Thanks for sharing the pic I was just about to post a message asking for someone to show me what an adult Tremper Albino looked like compared to a Bell. I am buying a female Tremper albino juvi this week (along with blizzard, patternless, hypo and reduced pattern).

I still don't see much of a difference between the Tremper and Bell but i think i'll save your pic and put it on my desktop so i look at it ALOT hehehe. Maybe it'll become easier to see the difference. When it comes to being albino what characteristics make them albino besides their eyes? They both look like they have spotting but they are very faded.

The next pic you posted is amazing.......those geckos are so cool!!! I especially like the one at the very bottom right hand corner.

Thanks,
Red

Oh, Bells are so much more contrasty than trempers. They are quite dymamic to see in person. Especially when compared to todays versions of Trempers!

Thankyou

*evil grin* makes me think i'll just have to get a bell albino too hehehehehe. I can't wait to get my new group of geckos

Oh, are all albinos sensitive to light? I ask because i'm figuring out the placement of all the newbies and i would like to know if i should put the albino in an area of the room that doesn't get as bright.
To show you how weird i actually am, i've put a sticker on each tank listing the sex and morph of the gecko thats going to go there. Boo and Zeeks tanks have a sticker that say "Hi i'm (their name)" and when/where they were bought. LOL If only i was this organized in other aspects too hehe.

Thanks for explaining the difference in the albinos

I find that each individual seems to have varying degrees of sensitivity. But yes, in general all albinos are sensitive to light. I find that my Bells are the most sensitive and the Trempers seem to be less so. It is almost impossible to get an open eye shot of a Bell, especially with a flash going!

Yeah, the contrast is amazing. As for the ultra light Trempers, I don't like them that much!
Thanks

One of these days I'll get some eye-shots. The Tremper & Bell look so different in person it is amazing! I can't wait to see some good tangerine Bell jungles, the contrast will just blow you away! An Bell albino blizzard or patternless would be exciting as well, but so far, no luck! Maybe next year (crossing my fingers for you Kelli).

Also, I love that gecko in the bottom left corner as well. Came from Kelli & Steve of www.HISSS.net. They have some great geckos. I'm actually having a problem finding a male of the same quality to pair her up with. Hopefully I'll get a hold of one by the end of the year.
Thanks

Yeah, the bottom right hand is a Las Vegas Patternless albino female from SF Geckos. I just can't wait to pair her up with our male next year. Their offspring will be some fine looking babies.
Thanks
