Thank you Jonathan....and Rose

I cannot wait to get these two little guys in the snake room. I just wish I could have gotten the #1 male and #1 female from the litter. Something about h*ll freezing over is what I think Jonathan said…

Everyone that participated in the auction Saturday's auction I've talked too really like the way it was set up. I can’t believe there are still two left. Great job Jonathan! I'll try to take some of my own photos similar to what Jonathan comparing my babies from the 2007 Rose litter with this year’s babies.

Thanks again Jonathan!

Take care,

Kevin

Can anyone guess which one of the two males I got is going to be put with her in about four year? The color should be unreal.

Kevin that's sharp..Good move! that litter has out standing color.

Those are sweet! I'd say the male in the top photo with the blocky saddles! The Boa in the bottom two photo's looks a bit Fiesty, probably take a couple years for him to calm down...more than likely be a good breeder though!!

I meant a couple years for her to calm down.. I have some females that are still a little unpredictable at times, but good breeders!

Thanks,

Actually - after a couple of months she got to where I can use one hook near the top of her body and then a hand on the bottom half. She hasn't struck or even hissed in about five months.

Just hate the fact I have to wait four years for that paring. You did pick the right male.

She has a smoking tail as well.

Take care

Ya, that male is bad a$$! Hope they prove out to be good breeders for ya! IF SO, I'm sure they will make some awesome babies!!

There was an auction?
Was it invitation only?

I'm ecstatic to know they're going to a good home. I'm excited about getting to watch male #2 grow up. I think he's REALLY going to be something special.

Also, not sure that "auction" is quite the right word since there were no bids and the prices were fixed, but I'm not sure what the right word is... lol I guess just an "offering"?

They'll be going out tomorrow and to you on Wednesday!
Thanks again!!

You are right. Auction was a bad choice of words.

I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas. I love this hobby!!

Kevin

The first pictured male is going to pair great with the import female. I really like that male. I think he's going to turn out very special. Adam

KevMadden Nov 17, 2008 09:30 PM

Thanks Adam. The #2 male was my favorite one JB was offering to sell. Probably because I thinking about how well he will match up with the WC red girl. Now I just have to learn to be patient and wait for him to mature...

Take care,

Kevin
