Robert Applegate's The Milk Snakes, published by Advanced Vivarium Systems. I have a copy and have read it. IMHO, it's one of the top three (possibly the best) of the AVS booklets, which are the best care booklets in the under $15 price range. I have met Applegate; he's an old pro milk snake man. (Disclaimer: I have no financial interest in his book; I'm just a VERY satisfied customer.)

The only area where I'd criticize Applegate's booklet is in the species accounts and descriptions. Get a copy of Markel's The Kingsnakes and Milk Snakes (approximate title) for that. IMHO, Applegate's and Markel's books each complement the other; each is stong where the other is weakest.
