Hi Jan

I´m glad you like them... I hope they will bring you many interesting hours!

In case you have not done so yet, you should give them something to hide under in the water. It makes them feel safer and they use it all the time. I think I forgot to tell you this yesterday, sorry.....

Good luck with them!

Best regards
Rasmus Frederiksen

Hi Rasmus

No problem.. you have told me and we talked about it when i photographed your adults.

A hide in the water was provided after the shots were taken, and they love to hide beneath and in the hide floating on the surface.

Those are truly delightful looking little snakes. Your friend has done well, they look plump and healthy (and inquisitive). You'll have your hands full feeding that herd of herps. Will they maintain that colour throughout adulthood?

Hi Michael

Thanx a lot... yeah they should be feeding quite good... look forward to trying to feed them (should be yesterday or so)

The adult coloration will hopefully be like Rasmus's adults

Yes, I should have remembered the adult photos you provided earlier. Notwithstanding, nice to see them again! They really are fine looking snakes.

Nice snakes. They are almost entirely aquatic so design the cage with that in mind ie a large bowl level with damp moss. Also, watch out for bites, some of the larger Enhydris can pack a bit of a punch.

Cheers
