Suggestions for turtle ramp..

platinumtlc Nov 17, 2008 12:34 PM

I have a preformed pond I bought at lowes, and I need some type of ramp to get the turtles up onto the dry parts. What are some suggestions I could use? Maybe something that is flat so that they can also go underneath it (in the water).

I have seen a few types of plastic grates used. I think some are industrial floor coverings that allow water etc. to runnoff. Others I think are pump covers or something like that.

Sort of look like what a plastic shopping cart is made out of. Don't know how else to describe it.
