Rack size question?

LoKii Nov 17, 2008 05:29 PM

Just curious, I am looking at purchasing a snake rack and have been eye balling the AP Stereilite 1756 7 slot 32 qt rack. I am wondering if this is going to be big enough for my Brooksi "florida" Kingsnakes and other colubrids? I realize this size is probally to small for my black pines? Let me know what you think

I have had that model for two years now. With the big tub in each slot there should be sufficient room for an adult L.g. brooksi. I agree that Pituophis may get too large to be comfortable . . .

Also, compared to others I have seen and used, the AP racks are very well-made - sturdy with accurate tolerances for nicely fitting tubs.

Good luck!

i had the 32 qt from AP ,,but i moved up to the Iris CB 70 rack from them,,,,,,i have both kings and pits so it works great. and giving my snakea alittle more room is really great,,,also more temp gradient....i got it with the side flexwatt,,,,

I use the AP rack with 32 qt tubs. I find it is plenty big for my Brooksi, corns and western hogs. I am a big fan of Animal Plastics. High quality rack and great customer service!
