Hello what temperature should I keep an eastern king in and whats an appropiate humidity for him also.
Well figure the geographic nature is From Pa. to S. Ga.(lets say!)so room temp should be good gradiant ,and they DO brumate/hibernate starting this time of year.and go off feed but do need water due to fluxuating temps.Dont be afraid of letting your King Sleep through the Winter regardless of age...Chris
Room temperature is, in fact, less than ideal. The cool end of the cage should be room temperature, but the basking area should be over 90 degrees. Be careful not to let the humidity get too high if the temps are too low -- otherwise, high humidity is good.
By high humidity I don't mean a fogging machine,
