What morph is this?

rhc4y4 Nov 18, 2008 07:49 PM

This is one of my younger ball pythons, but I don't know exactly what morph it is. It is obviously pastel, but it seems a lot more yellow and seems to have more pattern than a typical pastel. Is there any kind if pastel morph it may be other than just a simple pastel? I'm new to the game. The link takes you to a photo album of some of my snakes. The ball in question is in the first 3 pics. Thanks!
My snakes. Ball is the first 3.

Its just a Pastel. A nice one, but nothing more.

Yeah, I didn't think it was anything more, but so many people commented on how it didn't look like a normal pastel I thought I'd ask. How much is a pastel like this worth? I'm hoping I got a good deal, but it's a great snake in my collection.

I would say to expect to see them selling at least for 150-175. that seems to be the going price I think.

Truth, not at all to hurt your feelings but Pastel #3 looks just like the others to me from the pictures of 1, 2 and 3. I think they all look really good with ALOT of nice blushing for sure. Jay

They are all the same Pastel and thats a very Nice looking one, That Bee above would look really nice with a father pastel like that one... You couldn't have picked a better breeder to make pastels with. Just pick good Moms now and they'll be sweet...... It is a clean pastel and if You could email Me who You got Him from. I wouldn't mind some more pastel females out of that lineage.

Which Bee do you speak of? I'm interested. I eventually want to start a breeding project with my guy, so I'm looking at options.

No need to be disappointed. That is a really good looking Pastel for sure. It looks like you have a great collection started. Nice job. JP

Your pastel is just that Grade-A pastel when comparing to a Grade-C pastel. They can vary exceptionally, and you really picked a quality one. His dark has faded blushing, and his light is super clean; an exceptional specimen to the morph. Good luck with him!
