Spider or Pinstripe

LordBaal Nov 18, 2008 09:56 PM

I was 100% sold on a spider female, I have a Male Pastel

Which is best in your opinions?

The spiders seem harder to find.

Thanks

For me its an easy one. Spider female equals Bumblebees. A Cinnamon female equals Pewters. Both rock. And none should be hard to find. Just got to keep your eyes open. JP

P.S. If you can find someone with both equals better deal.

Some one offered me this 'female bumble bee'
I have a hard time distinguishing it from a normal spider.

I really like the pattern morph, of both, what would a pastel pinstripe be? any pictures any one?

That's a bee with some size to it and it is in shed so the colors are muted.

sweet, it really sounds like a good purchase,
Thanks

That does look like a bee -- but it's a pretty ugly one even tho it's in shed. I'd at least wait to get an out of shed pic. As well to determine if it's a good deal it would depend on the price, size and amount of wobble.

Get a female spider and a female pastel! Breeder your male pastel to both females and hopefully you'll get some bees and some super pastels. Then you can go for the killer bees!

Gotta love bees!

Or get a Spider that looks better then that Bee and Breed a Lemonblast to her.. Pics show a Pastel Pin = Lemonblast That was a dark Bee if You ask Me in shed or not. I found the pic and He's in Shed. But still looks good. Check out his Son below

And then make one of these a Spinnerblast. Out of 3 Eggs this Boy came out. And a Lemonblast female and a Normal male

With alittle size to Him Now, He's about 200 grams

I hope that helps You out ,but pick what You like not what everyone else likes "~

The price was 1300 SHIPPED,

jaymiller242 Nov 20, 2008 03:03 AM

$1300, ouch. I just got a great looking male AND female Bee PLUS a female Pastel thrown into the deal for $1900 shipped. That guy was way to dark for me. You have to do some good selective breeding on your own too if you want better looking animals but it sure helps to start with something decent. I say Keep looking.

If you're willing to drop four digits on an animal you really want -- make sure it IS the quality animal you really want. A bee that dark, might as well buy the female spider for cheaper. Go for quality, not for price. You won't regret it in the long run.

P.S. In spider vs pinstripe, I vote Spider. Pinstripe combos are valued at a higher price, but I think Spider combos are prettier. That is personal preference tho, as always.
