Beautiful critters. congrats on their condition and feeding response.
I see the same "pool side" behavior in a variety of my little ones. I think they are finding the proper humidity and temperature.
I have been using 16 ounce delicups filled with cactus potting soil with a small hole in the side or top to provide a humid hide. I put 2-3 of these in the tub to provide different temps. They little ones are in them most of the time. Note: I use the cactus soil because it contains no fertilizer. If this stuff drys out, it is very hard to rehydrate and gets nasty. I just throw the old out and replace it. The bags are $5 or 6 at Home Depot and go a long way.
I also have been using the 3 ounce souffle cups from Stupid and Temporary for feeding. They come in clear or black. Cut a small hole in the side and put the cap on. Insert pinkie. It helps keep the substrate from sticking to the pinkie. The snakes seems to respond well to hunt and find the pink. Many times the hatchling will feed, and then coil up inside the cup to digest. Probably that squeeze into a tight space thing they like to do.
