I have now been offered a male and female adult spider python,
shipped from Cameroon.

They are both adults, captive bred, and look awsome.
He is asking $350 SHIPPED for both.
This seems too good, and I am worried it is a scam.
Does any one have pointers or ideas, how to ensure a proper safe transaction? ie: useing verified paypal...? I really do not want to lose money to some scam ya know...

It would cost more than $350 for Paperwork and shipping/freight fees to get them here............Read into that as far as you want............Then run away..........

Definitely a scam.. In addition you would need
to be a licensed importer. As stated in other
posts the shipping will be quite expensive and
would likely exceed their asking price.

there's been a scam artist around the net for a while now claiming he is from Cameroon and is selling BP's

the personis a scam they are goign under the name of Dr. Hillary , if they were a DR. than they would have the money to ship the snakes

Also they post other ads for snakes , any thing from Cameroon is a scam

Then see what happens, and I will continue with my purchase of a 'more' Local guy. He is about an hours out of Toronto, but a whole grand more expensive, for a low color Bee. (which will still have the genes to create cool morphs down the road.

as said, its a scam. But if i were you, play along with them, and take up as much time as you can from them. ask to see certificates, shipping plans etc etc. Have fun with it when you bored one night!!!

I intend to waste as much time as I can!
I copied his last e-mail, I will see how much information he gets.
I also stated I am aware of scam taktics, and I will ask for COD, see if he responds to that one...
If hes willing to give me 2 great FREE snakes... hey why not.
But no money will leave my bank, until I am holding them!

My other guy I am getting from has a website, certified paypal account, and we have talked on the phone multiple times.
Him I am starting to be confident in my purchase.

I always love how the scammers have the terrific ability to type terribly and use stereotypically bad grammar to authenticate being from another country.

THERE HAVE NUMEROUS SCAMS OUT THERE...(WE HAVE A NEW BREED OF BALL PYTONS)AND WHEN YOU EMAIL THEM,THEY HAVE PICS OUT OF REPTILE MAGAZINE..THEN THEY WANT YOU TO SEND WESTERN UNION...AND BLAH,BLAH.

Yes I realize it was a possible SCAM, however, spending a few minutes investigating, would have been worth it if he came though...
a classic case, to good to be true... normally IS to good to be true

lol maybe he will ship you something ELSE like a plastic ball painted with spiders...or maybe some spider web in a ball...or something just as frustrating...
i mean "spider ball" could be lots of things- esp if english is not ones second language--or if they dont know that it is a morph---it might give different images for different people...

if it sounds too good, go with your gut! thats all id have to say about it...follow your hunches...

I know Canada isn't Camroon, but Cory Woods sends stuff all the time. He's trust worthy ask him if that's about right with the $#'s
