DIAL UP WARNING --lot of pictures

morphed Nov 20, 2008 01:20 PM

Hey I have not been around for a little while, things have been crazy this year. I just got a studio in a box setup and I was playing around the other day with the camera (trying to re-do the website) I really like how these shots came out, I have always fought with lighting since our snake room is in a basement and only have flourescent lighting. We live in NE and the weather is not exactlly suitable for cold blooded friends so natural light is out of the question in the winter months. The studio in a box was a great price and really is my solution to lighting now I would reccomend it to anyone. Anyways I took hundreds of pics and it was hard to just post these, granted there are a ton her. I hope you enjoy.
Thanks for looking
Kim

...What are all of them?

Is the second one a KillerBee or HypoBumbleBee??

Is one of those LemonBlasts actually an EnchiPinstripe??

And I think that's a PastelCalico towards the bottom?? lol

Thanks for posting the photos.
Wonderfully shot, and so rich in colour.

Really nice pics Kim. I have not been on here much lately either. Who knew that doubling the size of your collection would take so much more time. Looks like you had a great season. JP

Really nice pics. Where did you get your studio box? It is so difficult to get good light for snake pics.

Thank you everyone for all the kind words I love photography and wish I could mske more time for it but things are always crazy. I actually got my light box on Ebay it is a smaller one (10IN), all of the pictures are of baby snakes, all animals we produced this past year. I think they go for around 60-100, if anyone is interested they can email me at exoticreps@aol.com and I will give you the info of the one we purchased. I am working on a new website right now, it is almost done, i actually have a page dedicated to herp photography, pointers and tips that I find have worked in the past. When the site is complete I will let everyone know. I should of put what morphs I took pictures of, sorry about that. Here is a list of the morphs in the pictures.
Bumble Bee
Killer Bee
Ivory
Lemon Blast
Super Mojave
Pastel Yellow Belly
Pastel
Spider
albinos
the last pic is a Mojave
I think that is all of them
Hopefully I can get around to taking a few more photos this weekend.
thanks again everyone
